High Court Judge agrees with Silke Roskilly's demand from Cornwall Council for an Environmental Impact from Shire Oak Quarries.

Community Against Dean Superquarry (CADS) is delighted to announce the positive outcome of the 13th November Judicial Review. The Judge has ruled in favour of Silke Roskilly and against Cornwall Council whose approval of Shire Oak Quarries' initial planning application (PA14/12081) to re-open and massively upscale Dean Quarry without an Environmental Impact Assessment was deemed 'unlawful' and planning permission will therefore be quashed.

Silke Roskilly and all of us from CADS would like to thank everyone for their generosity and moral support. We will issue a full press release on Monday 21st December to explain the Judge's decision in more detail and indicate where we go from here.

Seasons Greetings from us all xxxx
