DEAN QUARRY OWNERS HOST PUBLIC DROP-IN MEETING TO DISCUSS FUTURE PLANS FOR DEAN QUARRY

If you have not already seen a copy of the attached article in The Falmouth Packet, Shire Oak Quarries are holding a drop-in event to present some possible options for the future of Dean Quarry on Friday 28th June 2019 between 2pm and 8pm at the St Keverne Parish Hall.

CADS encourages everyone interested in the future of Dean Quarry to go along to see Shire Oak Quarries’ suggestions.

Members of CADS will be attending this drop in event. It is difficult for CADS to comment at the moment as we do not know the plans and options that will be on display.

CADS will be keeping a very close eye on any potential plans and will scrutinise them regarding any activities that may adversely impact on The Manacles Marine Conversation Zone (MCZ), the Lizard Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) protected status.
